Over two immersive nights of nationally-acclaimed food and wine, Billykart West End will host a pop up Cellar Door, highlighting vintages from d’Arenberg Winery.
The McLaren Vale winery has been part of the nation’s wine story since 1912, winning dozens of awards and accolades across Australia.
Together with Billykart chef Ben O’Donoghue, we would like to invite you to join us over two nights of wine, dining, and incredible South Australian produce.
THURSDAY 13 JULY
Sit-down dinner with 6 wines
Set to engage and educate, dinner will welcome guests over shared grazing plates. Paired with six unique vintages, Ben O’Donoghue’s menu of South Australian seafood is a culinary adventure not to miss. The evening will focus on a range of grape varieties originating from the Rhone Valley in France; A representative from d'Arenberg Winery will be on hand to educate and demystify the wonders of Rhone grape varieties.
FRIDAY 14 JULY
Fun and flair lie at the helm of our open-door evening, set to throw guests into a vibrant world of wine chatter, tasting flights, and made-to-order seafood paella. Sure to run long into the night, guests are welcome to taste and take home their choice of d’Arenberg back vintages.
Wine enthusiasts will crowd the bar as a bottle from d’Arenberg’s personal cellar is unveiled. The incredible six litre Dead Arm Shiraz was rated 96 points on release, and has been resting in the cool winery cellar for eight years. This is a one-night-only opportunity!
